Looking up in Muir Woods, north of San Francisco. The centuries old giant evergreen sequoias were first named Redwood, "palo colorado", for the color of their soft bark by Father John Crespi, as precisely dated in his expedition journal on Tuesday October 10, 1769. Moral of the story: keep a journal of your own life explorations, you never know what you will come across!
This song came to me on the winter solstice of 2011, a year before the big change of 2012. For my sassy take on that foreseen event, see my meetup description where I debuted the song to our ascension studies group. "Heaven Now" gave me courage from a place of inspiration that poured out itself for everyone who looks forward to the future, so I'm glad to share it more and wish all the best to you and yours.

G C G Am
For the dream to belong you seek
G C D
the longing in your soul.
G C G Am
It would seem it’s a song you seek
G C D
to know more of your goal.
C D Em G
Way up yonder there’s a light
C G Am
beaming in your soul!
C D Em G
For this wonder have no fright;
C G Am
become still more whole.
G C G Am
United you stood and divided you fell,
G C D
your heart grew weary and old.
G C G Am
If you would now leave your hell
G C D
to part from those grown cold.
C D Em G
The passion burns for more love
C G m
than you’ve ever known!
C D Em G
The heart that yearns for God above
C G Am
has greater seeds here sown.
G C G Am
The Angels race to lead you home
G C D
and carry you inside
G C G Am
a place where One shall feed you some
G C D
more love that’s deep as wide.
C D Em G
Destined you shall know the truth
C G Am
of where all good is found!
C D Em G
For this you have set since youth
C G Am
your sight to higher ground.
