|
|
Yuko Adachi was born in Tokyo. She was brought up in Japan, Europe and the United States. Yuko is currently living in Boston, where she is working as an emerging artist. She sees art as a means to connect people with spirit and also a way to share some life and love energy with others. Yuko's artwork reflects her personal and spiritual growth. She is interested in expressing emotions and thoughts through paintings in oil, multi media, works on paper and installations. She calls her style, if she had to say, may be uhaaaa..."surreal abstract!"

Artist Statement:
I started to realize that art is a mere external stimulation, yet a powerful experience, which enables human minds and senses to enter the depth of our innate imagination and beyond, to get in touch with intangible truth of our being. We humans are very much of a spiritual being with a physical container!
When you are ready, good art has a potential to invite you to acknowledge a door or even open a door in your heart that you had not paid attention to in the past. Humans are sensitive beings and every emotion and discovery deserve a loving attention and be shared with the universe. All energies have to circulate.
For me, a desire to communicate is a desire to share love and feel oneness with all living energies. Through a physical and visual reality of art, I am seeking to find an ultimate universal language a human can share, by externalizing each door I notice that I possess. I struggle to find the language yet the challenge of it keeps me alive.
