Visual Art: spirit-filled paintings from dreams and visions
Paula J. Stimpson is a dream artist/painter. Her work as an artist is a gift to her, a spiritual connection that she cherishes. Paula's works continue to develop in power and technique, and every one comes from a vision, dream, or inner prompting. She paints in oils and has begun to incorporate stones, feathers, shells, and other special objects collected by herself and her family. Paula is interested in shamanism and metalworking as well. She was very excited to feel guided to the Soul Stirring shows, and consequently sold her first painting ever as a preliminary guest in the July 2001 event. Paula lives in New Hampshire with her three sons and her partner Eric Hutchinson, who is also contributing to the shows with his collection of ethnic drums and rhythms, with which he builds the energy and invites the public in to have more fun.

Artist Statement:
I am a dream artist who finds inspiration in the altered state of consciousness that is connected to the dream and spirit world. Here everything has significance. In this place, every sound, every smell, and every image becomes a symbol of some thing greater than that of itself. Even the (seemingly) most mundane of things become a significant part of a realm that entices the spirit to linger with enthusiasm.
